Concurrente as a noun means a person attending an event or one of several competing parties. As an adjective it means simultaneous or concurrent, used in computing (procesos concurrentes) and law. The word is gender-neutral in form and changes only for number: concurrentes. In everyday Spanish, asistente is more common for 'attendee'.
