Concentrar is a regular -ar verb. The reflexive concentrarse is more common when the subject is the agent doing the focusing: concéntrate en el trabajo ('focus on the work'). Concentrar (non-reflexive) is used when gathering people or resources: concentraron las tropas en la frontera. The noun is concentración.
