Usage Note
Chupasangre is a compound of chupar (to suck) + sangre (blood), used figuratively to describe a person who exploits others financially or emotionally. It is invariable in number in some registers (used as both singular and plural los chupasangre) though chupasangres also appears. Strongly pejorative in register.
