Usage Note

Centígrado and Celsius are used interchangeably in Spanish; grados centígrados is the everyday spoken form throughout Latin America and Spain. The masculine form is centígrado, feminine centígrada. Unlike in English, Spanish speakers almost never use Fahrenheit in daily conversation.
