Also means
anger; rage
Usage Note
Bronca is very colloquial: echar una bronca means to give someone a dressing-down, and armar una bronca means to kick up a fuss. In the Río de la Plata region (Argentina, Uruguay) it also conveys personal anger or resentment — tengo bronca means 'I'm furious' — a usage less common in Spain.
