Usage Note
Brigado is an uncommon term for a member of a brigada (brigade), found in some military and emergency-services contexts. The far more usual word for such a member is brigadista. As a person noun referring to a man it is masculine: el brigado.

Natural Translation
The brigade member received instructions from the brigade chief.
