Usage Note
Autoría denotes the quality or fact of being the author of a work, deed, or crime. It is common in legal language (autoría intelectual = intellectual authorship, i.e. masterminding a crime) and in literary criticism. Do not confuse it with autoridad (authority), which looks similar but means power or expertise.
