Aplastar implies flattening with force — crushing an insect, squashing a rebellion, or overwhelming an opponent. Aplastante (crushing, overwhelming) is a common derived adjective: una victoria aplastante (a landslide victory). The verb is regular -ar and does not trigger stem changes.
