Usage Note
Anteayer is a single adverb formed from ante (before) + ayer (yesterday), equivalent to 'the day before yesterday'. It is not separable and has no written accent. In much of Latin America the variant antier is common for the same meaning.

"Llegaron anteayer por la noche."
Natural Translation
They arrived the night before last.
