Andén specifically refers to the raised boarding platform at a train or metro station, not a general pavement — for that use acera (Spain) or banqueta (Mexico). It carries a written accent on the final syllable as an aguda ending in -n; the plural andenes loses the accent, since the stress then falls on the penultimate syllable.
