Usage Note
Alquilado is the past participle of alquilar ('to rent') used as an adjective, describing something currently under a rental arrangement — un coche alquilado ('a hire car'), un piso alquilado ('a rented flat'). In Spain alquilar covers both 'to rent' and 'to let', depending on perspective; Latin America often uses rentar instead. The feminine is alquilada.
