Also means
recently
Usage Note
Últimamente refers to a recent, unspecified period up to the present moment, equivalent to 'lately' or 'these days.' It is used with the present perfect or simple present, not the preterite: últimamente he estado muy ocupado ('I have been very busy lately'). It is derived from último ('last/latest'). A near-synonym is recientemente, but that is more specific to a single past event.
Examples
"Últimamente no duermo bien."
Natural Translation
Lately I have not been sleeping well.
