Also means
woman, girl (colloquial Spain)
Usage Note
Tía means 'aunt' in its primary sense, but in Spain it is also one of the most common informal words for 'woman', 'girl', or 'chick' — ¿quién es esa tía? ('who's that girl?'). The masculine equivalent is tío ('uncle' / 'guy/dude'). This colloquial use is distinctly Peninsular; in Latin America it reads as 'aunt' only and the slang sense can sound odd.
Examples
"Mi tía vive en Sevilla."
Natural Translation
My aunt lives in Seville.
