Usage Note
Suelto describes something not bound or attached — hair worn suelto hangs freely, a billete suelto is a single loose banknote. It also means 'change' as a noun in informal speech (¿tienes suelto? = 'do you have change?'). Don't confuse it with solo (alone) or libre (free as in available).
