Usage Note
Sobrevolar is a stem-changing verb (o→ue): sobrevuela, sobrevuelas, etc. It takes a direct object with no preposition: sobrevolar el océano (to fly over the ocean). Commonly used in aviation, military, and nature-documentary contexts.
