Usage Note

Sismológico is the technical adjective relating to seismology, the scientific study of earthquakes and seismic waves. It appears in contexts such as estación sismológica (seismological station) or informe sismológico. The noun is sismología and the practitioner is sismólogo/sismóloga. In SESEO the s at the start is a plain 's' — there is no 'z' sound.
