Usage Note

Sabroso describes food (or anything figuratively 'juicy') that is richly flavorful or delicious, going beyond mere rico ('good/tasty') to imply depth of flavor. In Caribbean Spanish it also extends to music or dance that has infectious rhythm and feeling. The feminine is sabrosa; the adverb sabroso is used informally in some dialects to mean 'pleasantly' or 'comfortably' (dormir sabroso).
