Reutilizar combines the prefix re- (again) with utilizar (to use) and is the standard verb in environmental and sustainability discourse. It is fully regular. The noun form is reutilización. It is distinct from reciclar (to recycle): reusing keeps the item in its original form, while recycling transforms it.
