Refrescante is an -ante participial adjective that agrees in number but not gender ('un viento refrescante', 'una bebida refrescante'). It is used both literally for cool drinks or breezes and figuratively for a change or perspective that feels invigorating ('una perspectiva refrescante'). The verb root is refrescar.
