Usage Note
Propietaria is the feminine form of propietario ('owner'). It refers specifically to a female owner of property, a business, or an asset. In legal documents both forms appear; modern usage increasingly uses la propietaria / el propietario symmetrically rather than defaulting to the masculine.
Examples
"La propietaria del local subió el alquiler."
Natural Translation
The owner of the premises raised the rent.
