Usage Note
Panza is an informal, slightly humorous word for a large belly or pot-belly, more colourful than the neutral vientre or barriga. Echarse a la panza is not standard; the typical phrase is echar panza = 'to develop a paunch.' In some regions panza also refers to the stomach of an animal used for food (panza de vaca = tripe).
Examples

Natural Translation
His belly ached after eating so much.
