Usage Note
Minoritario describes something belonging to or characteristic of a minority group: partido minoritario ('minority party'), lengua minoritaria ('minority language'). It contrasts with mayoritario ('majority'). The feminine form is minoritaria. Unlike the English noun 'minority', minoritario is purely an adjective; the noun is minoría.
