Usage Note
Mediático is a modern adjective describing anything related to or shaped by the media: cobertura mediática (media coverage), figura mediática (media personality). It can carry a slightly pejorative nuance implying that something is more about media spectacle than substance — un juicio mediático (a trial turned into a media circus). It is not an equivalent of English 'mediated'.
