Usage Note
Majo is a colloquial Spanish (especially Spain) adjective meaning nice, attractive, or pleasant — used warmly of people or things. Its register is informal and friendly: ¡Qué majo eres! ('How nice you are!'). Outside of Spain it is rarely used and may be unfamiliar in Latin America. Historically, majo/maja referred to a flamboyant working-class type depicted in Goya's paintings.
