Usage Note
Longevidad is feminine and has no plural in normal use; it is an abstract mass noun. It should not be confused with longitud ('length/longitude'). Spanish speakers also use the phrase larga vida informally where English would say 'longevity'. In scientific contexts the word appears in studies on factores de longevidad ('longevity factors').
