Usage Note

Liderado is the past participle of liderar ('to lead') used as an adjective, typically in the phrase liderado por ('led by'): un equipo liderado por ella ('a team led by her'). It is formed from the anglicism líder, which is now fully integrated into Spanish. The feminine is liderada. In formal writing dirigido por is a more traditional synonym.
