Usage Note
Institucional is an adjective that does not change for gender (only for number: institucionales). It commonly describes official or governmental matters: comunicado institucional, imagen institucional. In Latin American administrative Spanish, it is frequently used where English might prefer 'official' or 'formal' — it carries a slightly more elevated register than everyday oficial.
