Individualista is invariable in gender (same form for masculine and feminine): un espíritu individualista, una cultura individualista. It is also used as a noun: es un individualista (he is an individualist). In political discourse it often contrasts with colectivista. The stress falls on the penultimate syllable because the word ends in a vowel.
