Usage Note
Herbáceo is a botanical term describing plants that have a soft, non-woody stem — as opposed to leñoso (woody). Planta herbácea is the standard collocation. The feminine form is herbácea. Note the seseo pronunciation: the c before e is read as 's', not 'th.'
