Usage Note

Estacionado is the past participle of estacionar used as an adjective meaning 'parked'. It is used with estar: el coche está estacionado ('the car is parked'). In Spain aparcado is equally common; in Latin America estacionado dominates. The word can also describe anything that has stopped progressing (situación estacionada = 'stalled situation').
