Usage Note

Entregado as an adjective means wholly committed or dedicated to a cause or person: es un padre entregado (he is a devoted father). As a past participle it also conveys the physical act of delivery: el paquete fue entregado (the package was delivered). The emotional sense is the richer, less guessable use for learners.
