Usage Note
Económicamente is used to describe something in terms of financial cost or efficiency, as well as in a broader socioeconomic sense. It is one of the longer Spanish adverbs formed by adding -mente to the feminine form of the adjective (económica). In speech, adverbs this long are often replaced by en términos económicos or similar phrases.

The project is not economically viable.
