Divulgación refers to the spreading of information to a broad audience — either the unauthorised disclosure of confidential data (divulgación de secretos) or the legitimate popularisation of knowledge (divulgación científica — popular science). In data-protection law divulgación is the key term for data disclosure obligations. The related verb is divulgar; a divulgador is a science communicator.
