Usage Note
Diplomacia means both the practice of international relations and, informally, the social skill of handling situations tactfully: tiene mucha diplomacia means 'he has a lot of tact'. Diplomático is the adjective and noun (diplomat). The word does not refer to a document (that would be diploma).
