Usage Note
Boca is used in many idioms: en boca de todos ('on everyone's lips'), boca abajo ('face down'), and no abrir la boca ('not to say a word'). It also means the entrance or opening of something, such as boca de metro ('subway entrance') or boca del río ('river mouth'). The plural bocas in some contexts refers to dependents one has to feed.
