Alimentado is the past participle of alimentar (to feed, to power) used as an adjective. It describes both people or animals that have been fed (bien alimentado = well-fed) and devices or systems that are supplied with energy (alimentado por energía solar = solar-powered). The feminine is alimentada; the plural forms are alimentados/alimentadas.
