Alcista is a financial term describing a rising market or an investor who expects prices to rise — the bull in a 'bull market.' Its counterpart is bajista ('bearish'). As a noun, un alcista is a 'bull' investor. The adjective is invariable in gender (el mercado alcista, la tendencia alcista).
