Adiposo is a medical and anatomical term meaning 'composed of fat' — tejido adiposo (adipose tissue) is its most common collocation. The feminine form is adiposa. In everyday language Spaniards say graso or grasoso instead; adiposo is confined to scientific or medical registers.
